T.E.A.M. Dad will provide education, training and support to help men become the responsible, engaged and empowered fathers their children need them to be.
What is T.E.A.M. Dad?
We are proud to announce the launch of the T.E.A.M. Dad Program at HSCMD!
By Teaching, Empowering, Advocating, and Mentoring (T.E.A.M.), this program works with expecting dads and fathers of children age birth to three years to achieve their goal of having a positive impact in their children’s lives. This program provides home visiting services to fathers using the evidence-based curriculum, 24/7 Dad, and is tailored to meet individual needs.
Services include:
- One-on-one services to fathers, available through home visitation or at any location convenient to the family
- The visits will be tailored to meet the father’s individual needs
- Education using the evidence-based curriculum, 24/7 Dad
- Support for new fathers as they figure out their new role
- Topics will include:
-Dad’s self care
-fathering skills
-communication and relationship skills
-helping fathers understand the important role they play in their baby’s life
