The Healthy Start Coalition of Miami-Dade Board of Directors is comprised of individuals who are dedicated to their community and have a passion for ensuring that every baby gets a Healthy Start in life.  Membership reflects a diverse group of individuals in various disciplines and organizations. All members are volunteers and take time out of their day to meet and review all programmatic and financial responsibilities of the Coalition and govern the direction of the Coalition. In addition, the Board of Directors ensures there is transparency by the Coalition and that proper rules and regulations as defined within the By-Laws and as dictated by both State and Federal laws that govern non-profit organizations. The Board of Directors serve as champions in the community for the Coalition’s overall goals and mission and help promote it’s services to the community at large. The Board of Directors meet on a bi-monthly basis and hold other meetings (i.e. Executive Committee, etc.) as needed.
